About

Anthony Ecclissi is a Montreal based writer of scripts, prose and poetry, and a producer, director and actor of stage, film and television

Anthony has been acting professionally under Canada’s acting unions ACTRA & UDA since 2007 and speaks English, French, Spanish & Italian.  In 2021, he self-published his first collection of poetry GNOSIS ENTWINED: Diary of a Lightworker and currently writes articles and scripts in between coaching on WeAudtion.com with actors around the world.

His interest in writing started from a young age primarily in short story and poetry and then evolving into scripts. Make believe, then impressions and accents turned into writing all genres while finding his voice.  Enduring the trauma of the Dawson 2006 shooting continues to inspire Anthony’s comedy and drama writing, aiming to transmute collective pain into self-empowerment.

Anthony’s love for performing a range of material and digging into a script grows daily with the intent of connecting to the tone of the story and bringing all story elements through a journey of authenticity and vulnerability.

Anthony has hiked two active volcanoes in Guatemala and aspires to climb more around the world in between booking gigs… and global pandemics.

Montreal native storytelling from a global perspective.
